McClartys Insurance, urge all drivers to take extra care on the roads as forecasters warn of heavy snow and gale force winds, with Coleraine and Ballymena among the towns experiencing the most.

Winds are expected to reach gale-force starting in the North Coast. On Wednesday, the strong gales had caused trees to fall in Broughshane and Ballymena in Co. Antrim.
